I went back to those dry passages from last night. It was so good to have my Father back with me!

We began with Hebrews 11:17-19, and He taught me about Abraham’s faith. Even though God asked for Isaac in sacrifice, Abraham trusted Him to keep His promise about Isaac’s descendants. Abraham knew that God knew what He was doing with Isaac. I know this to be true. I can see how God knows what He’s doing with John. I won’t have all the information for a few days, but the psychologist has already told me that he is exceptionally bright and has verbal skills to match. His skill in the other ways of expressing himself is debilitating low in comparison. Debilitatingly low for him is actually high average! I know that there is a reason for this, and a reason for it being brought to light at this time. I know my Father will bring something very good from this. He brought all this to my mind as I prayed, and I thanked Him for all His goodness to my son.

We moved on to Ephesians 3:20, and I found myself asking what earthly thing could be worth the power of God, Himself, moving within and around us. The answer was clearly – nothing! All earthly things are fleeting; God’s power within us, His Kingdom, is forever.

We went to Philippians 1:18-26 next. St. Paul seemed so happy. But, of course he was! He realized he was in a no-lose situation!

Lastly, we took Jeremiah 1:1-10. Through this passage He confirmed for me that we are each made for a purpose. He will give us all that we need to fulfill that purpose, if we only cooperate. If we don’t, trying to be what we aren’t will only frustrate us. If we cooperate, then we will find satisfaction and contentment.
