What a joy! My Father was here to teach me, and lead me through the Scripture passages. Through Isaiah 45: 9 - 13, Romans 9: 20, and Psalms 104, He reminded me that He knows what He is doing. He sees the total picture; I see but a small part of it, thus His ways may seem strange to me at times. I must trust Him, though, despite the occasional strangeness. Certainly the God that put such order in creation can be trusted to maintain that order and know what’s best!

Since my Father knows what He is doing, it is for me to be obedient and cooperate with Him, rather than be raucous and rebellious. He showed me this through Psalms 131 and 100. To rebel would be to work against His plan. To cooperate is in keeping with the covenant we have made and will win His blessings.

Psalm 108, and 1 Corinthians 4: 7 showed me that only with God can we succeed. Only by working within His plan can we make any kind of progress in anything. All that we are and all that we have are God’s gifts to us. To work against Him and His gifts is to fail.
