Dryness today. I read Philippians 2: 9; Psalms 95 – 98; and 89: 1 –15, 43, but my Father wasn’t there. I really missed Him, too. I felt very lonely without His presence. I would have much preferred that the passages accuse me of my wrongs, than to be silent like that. The emptiness is much harder to cope with. But, I know He knows what He’s doing, so I offered the hour to Him in union with the Cross. The time passed very slowly, and I was very restless. (1)
