The readings I took today were very timely. I just didn’t feel like praying at all today (or doing much of anything else); procrastinated until almost bedtime; then had to drag myself into it. My Father led me through John 13: 1 – 13, Matthew 11: 20, and Micah 6. Through these He showed me His great love, and the great condescension that that love is. He also showed me how ungrateful I’ve been today. I asked His forgiveness, and spent the remainder of the time asking His help in loving Him as I should. I am weak and frail, and I will fail in my attempts to be what He wants me to be without His help. Despite my failings, He was good to me. I expected the time to drag by, but it went very quickly. I didn’t deserve that.
